The GeodataService of the City of Munich collects, manages, and provides the city's spatial data.

City in the Cloud – Data on the Ground: Data Soil Installation
The Data Soil is an interactive installation that shows and explains the Digital Twin Munich, a digital representation of the city that is the heart of Munich‘s Smart City approach. The installation was developed in co-creation by the Architekturmuseum der TUM, 3e8 Studio and the City of Munich for the previous architecture exhibition “City in the Cloud – Data on the Ground” in the Pinakothek der Moderne. The exhibition showcased the architecture of data and the resources and infrastructures that are necessary to support the digital cloud.
