represented by Caldo Worldwide and TNG Vincent Moulinet is a real-time media artist and designer working with game engines, custom controllers and space. He plays with systems and toys as architectures of control where agency is reduced to its core essence and physical engagement dissolves both the surface of the screen and categories. His practice explores the conditions under which desire is produced, captured, and weaponized by the structures that shape contemporary life.

Suit Play
At this year’s Festival der Zukunft, Caldo Worldwide presents an extension of Vincent Moulinet’s online exhibition, Suit Play. This installation features an automated version of the work, in which a robot dog interacts with the real-time simulation by stomping on a metal-plate controller.
Daddy Loves You Too is a real-time simulation in which facets of the self move chaotically, struggling to find their place while being crushed by a restless, hypnotic machine operated by “Daddy.” In this collaborative iteration with TNG, the human foot that once enacted this violence has been replaced by a robot draped in a dark veil – a lingering ghost, a phantom limb of automation performing the gesture in our place
