XR in the Wild - Where immersive storytelling meets the real world

Over the past decade, XR has produced extraordinary projects — from narrative VR experiences to dance projects, art installations, operas and (silent) discos in VR. Festivals have played a crucial role and starting point for their distribution. We will get to know and talk to a number of excellent artists and creators about their works, inspiration and what drives them to use XR technologies for their work. We will also hear about the a fantastic programme run by CIIIC in the Netherlands. In the final round, we will address how the XR Community is developing at the moment. How does the distribution evolve? Does immersive storytelling and related art forms increasingly enter theatres, museums, exhibitions, and public spaces? What is needed for this?
