Female health is emerging as one of the biggest untapped markets in healthcare — precisely because women have been systematically underserved for decades. Medicine, research and products were largely built around male biology and male-centric data, leaving major gaps in diagnosis, treatment and prevention. While investment in female health innovation is accelerating, it is still far from a funding self-runner. And unlocking the full opportunity will require more than capital: better data, more inclusive research, new diagnostic approaches and a deeper understanding of how diseases and treatments affect women differently. This panel explores why female health remained overlooked for so long, why the system still struggles to prioritize it, and where the biggest opportunities for innovation, prevention and business are now emerging.
