Alena Mayer is an entrepreneur, curator, and co-founder of Caldo Worldwide, a digital-nomadic gallery dedicated to artistic practices that critically engage with emerging technologies, with a focus on gaming and digital art. Caldo operates across browser-based exhibitions, physical-digital editions, and research publications to explore code, AI, game engines, and biotechnology as creative materials. With a an academic background in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship, she combines strategic thinking with deep expertise in art, technology, and institutional dynamics. She has teaching experience at the University of Vienna and the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg. In summer 2025, she was a resident at the SOAM residency in partnership with the TUM Think Tank, exploring "Re:Fund Digital Futures".
