Carlos Barberá Domingo is co-president of Munich Music Labs, the nonprofit student initiative at TUM that brings engineers and artists together in the same room until something interesting happens. Alongside co-president Daniel Henel, he has grown MML into a 60+ member global community running music-tech research projects with a machine learning focus, as well as events like Hackatune, Munich's first music-tech hackathon. His running thesis: most real progress comes from taking the fundamentals seriously, not skipping past them.
