Website

Dominik Schatz is a visual artist and co-founder of lichtgestalten, the Stuttgart- and Munich-based studio he founded with Philipp Kaiser in 2011. He specializes in realtime, generative visuals built in TouchDesigner, creating audiovisual installations and projection-mapping works that turn light into a medium for shaping perception. Since 2021 he has transformed the planetarium dome at Munich's Deutsches Museum into a stage for the Festival der Zukunft, handling both the content and the technical setup. Schatz also designs live visuals for musicians and bands – most recently for Marlon Hoffstadt, whose 2026 Coachella sets brought the work to a global stage.
