Flavia Mazzanti is co-founder of Immerea – a media company based in Vienna focusing on the development of VR Games and interactive Installations –, new media artist, co-organizer of XRVienna, and active as public speaker and university lecturer. Coming from a background in art and architecture, she is also active as media artist. She graduated with distinction at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, receiving the Gustav Peichl Award for architectural drawing and the Würdigungs Prize for artistic work. Her work has been screened and awarded at multiple national and international festivals, among others the Ars Electronica Festival in Linz, DIG Shibuya in Tokyo, Digital Arts Festival in Zurich. Flavia is listed on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list of 2023.
