Inés de Vega

Chief Scientist bei IQM

Dr. Inés de Vega is Chief Scientist at IQM, where she drives the company’s long-term scientific and technological direction across quantum hardware, software, algorithms, and applications. She has led the development of hardware-aware quantum algorithms, quantum error-control methods, and industrial quantum applications. Before joining IQM, she held research positions at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics, the University of Ulm, and Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. She also has substantial experience in intellectual property, having worked as a patent engineer in software, electrical engineering, and telecommunications, and having joined IQM as Head of Intellectual Property, where she contributed to the development of the company’s IP strategy and patent portfolio.
