Involving developments ranging from XR to AI, combining it with found objects and narratives, he investigates the potential of involving technology as inherent parts in storytelling. From 2023 to 2026, F. Wiesel researched digital technologies in theater at Schauspielhaus Graz as Artists-in-Residence. He also heads the curation of DIGITHALIA – Festival für virtuelle Theaterformen Graz.
