Involving developments ranging from XR to AI, combining it with found objects and narratives, he investigates the potential of implementing technology as an equal partner in storytelling. From 2023 to 2026, F. Wiesel researched digital technologies for theatre productions at Schauspielhaus Graz as Artists-in-Residence. He also heads the curation of DIGITHALIA – Festival für virtuelle Theaterformen Graz.
