Susanne Paech

Susanne Paech is a journalist and media scientist. She holds a PhD in Communication Science and the History of Astronomy. For several years, she worked as a freelance journalist specializing in science and technology before founding her own consulting firm. Her company, mce mediacomeurope GmbH, spent many years focusing on the design and implementation of content services and project management, counting Deutsche Telekom among its long-standing clients. In 2010, her company launched HYPERRAUM.TV, a licensed television channel for science and technology, where she serves as Program Director and Editor-in-Chief. She is also the author of several non-fiction books. Susanne Paech was married to the scientist and artist Herbert W. Franke (1927-2022), a physisist, cave explorer, artist and science fiction writer bridging the gap between science sind the 1950s. In 2022, Susanne Paech established the "art meets science – Herbert W. Franke Foundation." The foundation manages her late husband's legacy through numerous projects, including the cataloging of his extensive manuscript and image archives and the translation of his literary works. In collaboration with the publisher DKV, the foundation is re-releasing key books by Herbert W. Franke, many of them for the first time in English. Through events and community activities such as the "Generative Art Summit," "Contact Attempt," and "Astropoeticon," she continues to keep her husband's legacy alive in active exchange with the generative art communit
