Kathrin McCarthy

Kathrin McCarthy is a senior professional in sustainability and carbon markets, currently serving as a Carbon Trader and Biochar Project Manager at INTERHOLCO AG in Zug, Switzerland. With over a decade of experience in commodities market, Kathrin has a proven track record of leveraging market mechanisms to drive sustainability initiatives.

Prior to her current role, Kathrin was the Senior Originator for Environmental Markets at Ezpada Group, where she specialized in carbon markets and was responsible for profit and loss management. Her experience also includes key positions at Shell, the McCarthy Family Office, Refinitiv/Reuters, and TXU, where she honed her skills in negotiation, sales processes, and market analysis.

Outside of her professional life, Kathrin is dedicated to her three energy bundles, loves the outdoors and serves as a Certified Athletic Trainer for Leichtathletik Arth, where she mentors young athletes to believe in themselves.
