Stefan Ferber

Dr. Stefan Ferber is executive director and co-founder of ClimateTech start-up TREEO. Stefan’s competence in software engineering, agile practices, internet of things, and digital business models derives from his multiple former roles. Stefan has been Co-CEO and CTO of Bosch.IO (formerly Bosch Software Innovations) since January 2018. Before he was vice president engineering, director for business development, product and project manager, and software architect at multiple Bosch units. He has more than 25 years’ experience in software development, software processes, open source, and software architectures for embedded systems, computer vision, and IT domains. Stefan holds a graduate degree and a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany and a M.Sc. in computer science from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, USA. He is a certified ATAM lead evaluator by the Software Engineering Institute of Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA.
