Thomas Lange

Thomas has been working for many years at the intersection of private capital, science, and political consulting. Initially as an Economist at the ifo Institute for Economic Research, later as Head of Department of the National Academy of Science and Engineering (acatech), and as the Chief Strategy Officer for the establishment of the German Cyber Agency, an innovation agency modeled after the American DARPA. He is a Sherpa for the Future Council of the Federal Chancellor and a Member of the World Economic Forum's Expert Network. At Achleitner Ventures, Thomas invests in technology startups among other things. He holds a PhD in Economics and is a Certified Private Equity Analyst.
