Marco and Florian Bötsch

We are brothers and children of Deaf People, enabling us to communicate and create texts with the use of Deutsche Gebärdensprache (DGS). Hence, we will do a performance on topics like growing up in two different linguistical worlds whilst walking the line between them. With regards to the Festival für Zukunft of Deutsches Museum München, we will emphasize Language, Society and Technology, looking at the future of inclusive language through the lens of technology. Both born in the 90s in Lower Franconia, we have been creating literature for more than six years now; although the German Sign Language part of our art is a new baby born, we aim at furthening this access to literature through scripture, sound and vision.
