Markus Mohl

Markus Mohl works for the GeodataService at the City of Munich. He is the Head of the Competence Centre Digital Twin Munich. The digital replication is the digital heart of Munich‘s smart city approach. It enables the City of Munich to address the challenges of the Smart City with innovative solutions. With the help of the Urban Digital Twin, for example, innovative mobility concepts, sustainable urban development and solutions for climate protection and climate adaptation are efficiently supported.

Markus Mohl arbeitet für den GeodatenService bei der Landeshauptstadt München. Er leitet dort das Kompetenzzentrum Digitaler Zwilling München. Das digitale Abbild ist das digitale Herzstück der Zukunftsstadt München. Damit begegnet die bayerische Landeshauptstadt den Herausforderungen der Smart City München mit innovativen Lösungen. Mit Hilfe des Digitalen Zwillings werden beispielsweise innovative Mobilitätskonzepte, eine nachhaltige Stadtentwicklung oder Maßnahmen zum Klimaschutz und zur Klimaanpassung effizient unterstützt.
