Stefan Kamin

Researcher

Fraunhofer IIS

Stefan is an aging researcher specializing in Human-AI interactions across the human lifespan. His work primarily explores the impact of digital innovations throughout life, focusing on the intersection of digitalization processes and the human factor. Stefan's research aims to understand how digital innovations can enhance health and social participation. He has delved into the individual conditions necessary for the acceptance of digital innovations, which are crucial for their successful implementation across various contexts.

Stefan has extensive experience in leading user-centered research and development projects. These projects have involved identifying the requirements of diverse user groups for digital innovations and deriving suitable technical solutions. His work is characterized by interdisciplinary collaborations with researchers from various fields.

Stefan holds a PhD in Psychogerontology from FAU. He currently works at the Center for Applied Research on Supply Chain Services of the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS. Here, he coordinates the competence pillar HUMAN AI at the ADA Lovelace Center for Analytics, Data, and Applications, investigating the critical intersection between humans and AI.
