Astrid Kahmke

Astrid worked in the film industry for almost 20 years, most recently as a successful producer of international feature films. As Creative Director of the Bavarian Film Centre, she designed and led numerous trainings in the field of digital and immersive storytelling. Her expertise in artistic and creative projects from film to VR make her an internationally recognised expert and leading networker in the European XR ecosystem. She is the head of the European Creators' Lab, a training for XR creators, funded by the Creative Europe Media Program since 2017.

Her newest project, freshly hatched company YONDERS GmbH specialises in analogue, digital and immersive storytelling, project management and consulting. Astrid always has been working intensively on the intersection of technology, art and media and knows that innovation thrives best in multidisciplinary environments.

Astrid war fast 20 Jahre lang in der Filmbranche tätig, zuletzt als erfolgreiche Produzentin von internationalen Kinofilmen. Als Creative Director des Bayerischen Filmzentrums konzipierte und leitete sie zahlreiche Trainings im Bereich des digitalen und immersiven Storytellings. Ihre Expertise in künstlerischen und kreativen Projekten von Film bis VR machen sie zu einer international anerkannten Expertin und führenden Netzwerkerin im europäischen XR-Ökosystem. Seit 2017 leitet sie das European Creators' Lab, ein vom Creative Europe Media Program gefördertes Training für XR-Kreative.

Ihr neuestes Projekt, die frisch geschlüpfte Firma YONDERS GmbH, ist spezialisiert auf analoges, digitales und immersives Storytelling, Projektmanagement und Beratung. Astrid hat sich schon immer intensiv mit der Schnittstelle von Technologie, Kunst und Medien beschäftigt und weiß, dass Innovationen am besten in multidisziplinären Umgebungen gedeihen.
