Daniel Cremers

Daniel Cremers is a decade long leader in computer vision algorithms and Chief Scientist at Artisense, a high-tech startup combining computer vision and AI to enable dynamic 3D mapping and localization in real time without relying on GPS. While holding the chair for Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition at the Technical University in Munich, he was listed among “Germany’s top 40 researchers under 40” in 2010 and received several awards and grants for his research and publications. At 1E9, he will talk about enabling machines to see the world and will share with us not only interesting stories from the past, but also insider stories from the industry.
