Greta Baden

After voluntary engagement in the field of sustainability and considering her studies in chemical engineering, Greta started looking into different approaches of negative emissions technologies to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere. Given that Direct Air Capture („DAC“) can contribute to the overall CO2 reduction in the future if certain challenges can be overcome, she co-founded the student initiative "TUM Carbon Removal Initiative" in April 2021. The goal of TUM Carbon is to contribute to a broad-based solution that mitigates the effects of climate change.
