Hye Young Sin

Hye Young Sin is an artist originally from Seoul, currently residing in Cologne, Germany. Her artistic focus is on reevaluating the concept of growth and studying various cultivation methods, with a particular interest in the cultural and technological factors. Sin's educational background includes a degree in Consumer Science with a joint major in Information and Culture Technology from Seoul National University in South Korea. Then she completed a diploma at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne, Germany. Her works have been prominently featured at exhibitions and media/sound art festivals such as the next generation 8.0 at ZKM in Karlsruhe, Sound/Image 19 in London, 21st Seoul International ALT Cinema & Media Festival in Seoul, and INSONORA in Madrid.
