Jaspar Pahl

Jaspar Pahl is working as a Senior Scientist for the Digital Health and Analytics Department at Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS.
He is also part of the Cognitive Systems Group at the University of Bamberg where he is pursuing his PhD about scarce data situations in machine learning and the integration of human knowledge into black box AI systems.
With a background in Medical Systems Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, he is particularly interested in Affective Computing – the task to enable machines to understand human emotions.
