Johanna Bronisch

Johanna arbeitet beim Digital Hub Mobility an der UnternehmerTUM und leitet dort ein Projekt des Co-Innovationsformats citizen mobility zum Thema E-Mobilität. Gemeinsam mit Unternehmenspartnern, Start-ups, Kommunen und Bürgern entwickelt sie dort über eine halbes Jahr mit Hilfe von urbanen Experimenten neue Konzepte und Produkte um die Verkehrswende zu beschleunigen. Aktuell arbeitet das citizen mobility Team an zwei Fragen: 1) Wie können multimodale Mobilitätsstationen bedarfsgerecht geplant werden? und 2) Wie können Elektroautos eine Brücke zwischen lokal-erzeugter, erneuerbarer Energie und dem stetig steigenden Strombedarf bauen?

Vor ihrer Zeit bei der UnternehmerTUM hat Johanna als Psychologin und Neurowissenschaftlerin erforscht wie das Gehirn Verhalten steuert. Seitdem setzt sie ihre technische und naturwissenschaftliche Expertise im Bereich der Stadtentwicklung und Mobilität ein.


Johanna is part of the digital hub mobility at the UnternehmerTUM, where she works on the co-innovation program citizen mobility. This 6-months program brings together corporates, start-ups, municipalities and citizens to develop innovative concepts and products that address the challenges that cities are facing in the light of evermore traffic. Currently the citizen mobility team is working on two questions: 1) How do we design and build user-centric multimodal mobility hubs? and 2) How can electric vehicles contribute to increase flexibility of the energy grid focussing on the local production of solar power?

Before joining UnternehmerTUM Johanna studied how behavior emerges from neural activity as a psychologist and neuroscientist. Today she applies her science background to contribute to the development of liveable cities and climate friendly transport.
