Martin Strehle

As a scientist with studies in protein biochemistry, viral vector gene therapy, and viral immunomodulation mechanisms, I like to ask questions that others tend not to ask. Personally, I like to grow on things that I can't quite understand at first, and I'm excited to see what the future of biotechnology holds. Through my experience in the development phase of the German biosecurity program, I have a comprehensive overview of political challenges and long-term implementation hurdles of ideas and guidelines. With this in mind, I tried to combine science and business by completing an MBA program. My interdisciplinary background led to my own startup experience where I served as CEO of a laboratory technology company in the field of high-content cell analysis, getting deeply involved in product development, AI-driven image analysis, drug safety and financial needs of the biotech sector in Germany . Martin holds a PhD in biochemistry from LMU, a bachelor's and master's degree in biochemistry from TUM and an MBA from HM Munich.
