Marvin von Hagen

Marvin von Hagen is an incoming visiting graduate researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), focusing on the field of collective intelligence.
Previously, he was Co-Founder & Project Lead of TUM Boring e.V., a 65-member non-profit that built a 12-meter-long, 22-ton-heavy tunnel boring machine and won Elon Musk’s international Not-a-Boring Competition 2021 in Las Vegas. Other experiences have led him to the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM), the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Sciences Po Paris, and Tesla.

His work with LLMs – in particular prompt injections – has received international recognition, with interviews published by news outlets such as TIME Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post.
